Original papers with my letter of 13th. u) t., re-
turned as requested. The "impressing-date-machine" allud
ed to by me should have over-embossing dies carrying the
date, similar to those in use at the Stock Exchange Branch
of the Inland Revenue Department, but should record the
date on both adhesive stamp and document as mentioned in
my letter. I should be glad to know what its cost would
be.
I understand from Messrs De La Rue's Jetter that the
cost of preparing say 25 Varieties of adhesive Revenue
Stamps would be £ 4

To tal
.375 (i.e. 25 values at £15 each) £464
to which will have to be added cost of da ting machine

and of the stamps themselves viz: 3/8
